Anne S. Chatham Fellowship in Medicinal Botany, Ph.D. student or recent graduate

The Garden Club of America’s Anne S. Chatham fellowship provides Ph.D. students or recent graduates with $4500 to support direct costs of a one-year research project relating to medicinal plants. Any field of research (e.g., ethnobotany, systematics, ecology, phytochemistry) is eligible so long as the project involves a plant or plants with traditional medicinal uses. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents studying at a U.S.-based institution.
