These resources are complemented by exceptional libraries and archives containing rare books, manuscripts, field notes, historical correspondence, monographs, journals, and electronic media. Together, they offer extraordinary opportunities for discovery across taxonomy, systematics, biodiversity science, collections research, and the history of natural history.
