UNC Wilmington is in the process of hiring a full-time, permanent greenhouse manager. The manager's responsibilities include maintaining the plants within the Kresge Greenhouse on the main campus, maintaining and repairing greenhouse equipment, purchasing materials required for courses, and the greenhouse budget. We have an immediate opening in our Los Gatos office for an experienced project management-level plant ecologist/plant biologist. The duties expected of this position include managing all aspects of the biological components of CEQA/NEPA assessments, rare plant surveys, wetland delineations and habitat mapping projects, Clean Water Act Section 404/401 and similar resource agency permitting projects, and resource management plans; managing staff, budgets, clients, and agency contacts; business development; marketing; proposal preparation; staff training and supervision; and recruiting.

The Flora of Pennsylvania Internship is a joint program between the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania and The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University. The Flora of Pennsylvania Intern receives training and work experience in many aspects of managing collections in a major herbarium, and an opportunity to contribute to a modern state flora through a research project on some aspect of the flora of Pennsylvania.
