The College of Science and Math at North Greenville University is seeking a candidate for a full time faculty position in the Department of Biology. The successful candidate will advise students, teach introductory and upper-level courses, and contribute to program and department development. Evidence of strong teaching skills, expertise in using technology in instruction, and ability to teach online classes are pluses. In addition to program and teaching responsibilities, preference will be given to candidates that can demonstrate successful research collaborations with undergraduates and are willing to include students in their research programs.
Individuals qualified to teach plant science, biochemistry, environmental science, or ecology (especially field zoology or field botany) are encouraged to apply. Applicants with other areas of expertise will also be considered. Candidates with an earned doctorate are preferred, but individuals with a masterâ€™s degree plus 2 years of experience will be considered.
